Chalmers 330 - Digital Collaborative Studio


To Use the large screen TV with local PC
  1.  Locate the touch panel controller to the left of the video wall, and press the "Press to Begin" icon
  1. TV will power on.  Select PC on the touch panel.
  2. Log into the computer at the rear of the room with your Kenyon credentials.  Use the wireless keyboard and trackpad.
  3. Adjust volume on the PC taskbar and/or the touch panel on the wall.
To Use the large screen TV with Apple TV for wireless screencasting
  1.  Locate the touch panel controller to the left of the video wall, and press the "Press to Begin" icon
  2. TV will power on.  Select Apple TV on the touch panel.
  3. Use the screen mirroring feature on your device or laptop to connect directly to the Chalmers 330 Apple TV, or follow the onscreen instructions for Ditto screencasting, if you have a Windows device.
To Use the large screen TV with Zoom Room technology
  1.  Locate the touch panel controller to the left of the video wall, and press the "Press to Begin" icon
  2. TV will power on.  Select Zoom Room on the touch panel.
  3. Locate the Zoom Room touch panel on the back counter of the room.
  4. To begin a Zoom meeting, press the orange "New Meeting" icon
  1. Once active, you can invite an offsite participant.  Press the "Invite" icon.  Select the "email tab" at the top.  Type in the remote participant's email address, and a Zoom link will be sent to them via email.
  1. Once connected, you may adjust the view, by selecting the "View" icon and choosing your desired option.
  1. To adjust the camera angles, press the "Camera Control" icon, and use the arrows to adjust the tilt and pan of the camera.  Use the + and - icons to zoom in and out.  Alternatively, you may select Auto-framing, if you want the camera to follow the speaker automatically.
