Connect a headset
- Connect a RJ11-type headset to the headset port on the back of the unit
- Connect a USB-C headset to the USB-C port on the side of an Edge E220
Mute
- The mute icon is a microphone symbol with a slash
- Mute your microphone by pressing the mute button on the bottom-right corner
- Press the mute button again to unmute
- The mute button glows red when you are muted - there are no beeps or other audio cues when you are muted or unmuted.
Use a headset
- On a call, press the headset button to the right of the keypad to switch from the active audio device to the headset
- The headset icon glows green when you are using the headset as the active audio output
- Press the headset button again to go back to using the default audio device
Use the speakerphone
- On a call, press the Speaker button to the right of the keypad to switch from the active audio device to the speakerphone
- If the speakerphone is active, lift the handset to automatically switch to the handset
- If the handset is active, press the speaker button to switch to the speakerphone
- After the speakerphone is enabled, you can put the handset back on the hook without ending the call
