Hot Desking


Sign In
  • On the phone's home screen, press the Guest soft key.
    Important: When signing into an assigned phone, don't press Sign Out then Sign In. This will unregister the device completely.
  • If you cannot find the Guest soft key, dial and call *91.
  • Follow the audio prompts to enter your extension number and voicemail PIN. The phone will reboot to the hot-desk user. 
    To set or retrieve your voicemail PIN, go to kenyon-edu.zoom.us/signin and log in. Then, go to the Phone option on the left-side and scroll down until you find your desk phone's voicemail PIN, then Show or Edit.
Tap to Hotdesk
Alternatively, you can use Tap to hotdesk. This lets you skip finding the Guest key, entering DTMF codes, or sitting through audio queues. You do not need to know your voicemail PIN to use tap to hotdesk.
  • Install the Zoom app and sign into your account on your NFC-enabled iOS or Android smartphone
  • Open the Zoom mobile client
  • Under OTHER at the bottom, tap Tap to Hot Desking.
  • When prompted, scan the back of your phone on over the center of the display on the desk phone.
  • The IP phone will reboot to register your information and sign you in.

Sign Out
Press the Sign Out soft key on the screen. You may need to press the More soft key to find this option.
You can also dial and call *92. The phone will reboot.
