Windows
- Go to this link: https://zoom.us/download. The first available option should say Zoom Desktop Client. Click on the blue Download box to download the installer.
- Open your file explorer (the manilla folder icon that should be just to the right of the search bar in the bottom left of your screen), then go to the folder labeled Downloads in the file explorer.
- The most recent file, located at the top of the list of downloads, should be named “ZoomInstallerFull.exe”. Double click the application to run it.
- Make sure the box stating “Automatically keep Zoom desktop client up to date” is checked and hit the blue Done button.
- You may now return to the original guide, Getting Started With Zoom.
macOS

- Open the Finder app, then go to the option labeled Downloads.
- The most recent file, located at the top of the list of downloads, should be named “zoomusInstallerFull.pkg”. Double click the application to run it,and go through the setup process.
- Make sure the box stating “Automatically keep Zoom desktop client up to date” is checked and hit the blue Done button.
- You may now return to the original guide, Getting Started With Zoom.
