To Use Desktop Computer with LCD Projector
  • To display computer image on projector, use the Control Panel on top of instructor station. (Pictured above). 
  • Press and hold Display On button for two seconds. Button will blink, indicating that the projector is turning on.
  • Press PC button on input selector of control panel.
  • The computer image should appear on screen.
  • Adjust volume, if needed, with volume knob on control panel.
  • To temporarily mute the image, press the PIC MUTE button on the control panel.
  • When finished, log off computer, then press the Display Off button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking.
To Use Laptop with Projector
  • There is a VGA laptop cable next to the control panel. Plug laptop cable into laptop's external monitor jack, and connect the audio cable to the headphones jack on your laptop.  Alternatively, if your laptop supports it, there is also an available HDMI cable for digital projection.
  • Turn on laptop.
  • To display laptop image on projector, use the Control Panel on top of instructor station. (Pictured above)
  • Press and hold Display On button for two seconds. Button will blink, indicating that the projector is turning on.
  • Press Laptop or HDMI buttons, depending on your choice of cable, on the control panel input selector.
  • Laptop image should appear on screen. If image is not optimal, press the Auto Image button on the control panel.
  • If needed, adjust volume with knob on Control Panel.  If audio does not work, try unplugging and re-plugging the adapter into your laptop.
  • To temporarily mute the image, press the PIC MUTE button on the control panel.
  • When finished, turn off and unplug laptop, then press the Display Off button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking. Projector will then turn off.
To Show A DVD/Blu-Ray
  • Turn on Blu-Ray player, located inside the equipment rack. Insert DVD.
  • To display DVD image on projector, use Control Panel on top of instructor station. (Pictured above)
  • Press and hold Display On button for two seconds. Button will blink, indicating that the projector is slowly turning on.
  • Press the DVD or Blu-Ray button on Control Panel input selector.
  • Insert DVD in the DVD drive.
  • Operate DVD player with buttons on the top control panel.  For example, at the DVD main menu, press the arrow keys to make your selection, and press Enter to activate that selection.
  • Adjust volume using knob on Control Panel. 
  • When finished, press the Display OFF button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking. Eject DVD and turn off Blu-Ray player.
