Weaver Cottage sound system


Directions for using the sound system

  1. To turn on the light in the closet, pull the chain on the right-hand wall.
  2. Ensure that the power is ON the Crown XLS1002 amplifier (right hand side button) and the Denon DN-300Z CD/Bluetooth player (Power On/Off button is on the left side of the device.)
  3. To play audio via Bluetooth using your own device (smartphone, tablet, or laptop with Bluetooth capability).
  4. Press the Media Selection button (CD/USB/SD/Aux/BT) on the Denon unit until Bluetooth/BT is showing on the selection screen.  To confirm the choice, press in on the Jog Dial on the front right of the unit.
  5. Next, press the Pairing button on the front of the unit for 1 second.  “Pairing” will display on the display.
  6. It is now in Pairing mode.  On your Bluetooth device, enter its settings menu, and select “DN-300Z”.  When connected, “Pairing OK” will appear on the display, and your Bluetooth device will automatically connect to the unit.
  7. Play back music using your devices’ music app.
  8. Adjust volume using your device volume button or the volume knobs on the Crown XLS1002.
To play a CD
  1. Press the Media Selection button (CD/USB/SD/Aux/BT) on the Denon unit until CD is showing on the selection screen.  To confirm the choice, press in on the Jog Dial on the front right of the unit.
  2. Insert a CD into the CD Slot of the Denon unit
  3. Press the Play button on the Denon unit.  Choose tracks using the numbers buttons.
  4. Adjust volume using the volume button on the Crown XLS1002.
