Steps to Map a Drive on a Windows PC
  • Open File Explorer by pressing Windows + E on your keyboard.
  • Click This PC in the left sidebar.
  • Click the three dots icon at the top command bar (or the Computer tab in older Windows versions) and choose Map network drive.
  • Pick an available drive letter from the drop-down list.
  • Type the network path in the Folder box (example: \\computer-name\shared-folder) or click Browse to find it.
  • Check the box for Reconnect at sign-in if you want the drive to stay connected every time you turn on your PC.
  • Click Finish. You may need to enter your network username and password
