Eaton lab (Phonathon room)





To use the local computer with Center Samsung TV
  • Press the red Power button on the Samsung TV remote control (which is labeled "Eaton Lab.") (pictured above)
  • Press the "Source" button on the remote control and select "HDMI1"
  • Log into the computer (It is the first computer on your left, as you enter the room) using your Kenyon network credentials.
  • Adjust audio levels using the "local PC" knob on the rack mixer.


To use Apple TV to project your Apple Device onto the Samsung TV
  • Press the red Power button on the Samsung TV remote control (which is labeled "Eaton Lab.")
  • Press the "Source" button on the remote control and select "HDMI 2"
  • Your laptop or device must be connected to the "Kenyon Devices" wifi network in order to communicate with the Apple TV.
  • Once your laptop or device is connected to "Kenyon Devices", select the AirPlay icon at the top of your device screen (it looks like a rectangle with a black triangle) and then select "Eaton lab Apple TV."  (For iOs devices, swipe up from the bottom of your screen to access the Control Center, and select the AirPlay icon.)
  • If you have a Windows laptop, you will need the "Air Parrot" software installed to communicate with the Apple TV.  Contact Helpline for assistance.
  • (Instructions for connecting to the Apple TV should also appear on the TV screen once you select "HDMI 2" on the remote control.)
  • Your device's image should now appear on the TV.
  • When finished, click the AirPlay icon again to disconnect.


To watch Time Warner cable TV on corner Television
  • Locate the remote control labeled "Spectrum." (pictured above.)
  • Press the "System On/Off" button on the upper left of the remote.  Both the TV and the cable box should turn on.
  • Switch channels using the Channel up and down buttons on the remote control.
  • (CNN is channel 28, the weather radar is channel 26.)
  • Adjust volume with the volume buttons on the Spectrum remote control.
