To Use Classroom Laptop with LCD Projector
  • The classroom laptop is located inside the instructor's station at the front of the room, which is normally locked and protected by key-code.
  • To display computer image on projector, use the Control Panel inside of instructor station. (Pictured above). 
  • Press and hold Display On button for two seconds. Button will blink, indicating that the projector is slowly turning on.
  • Press PC button on input selector of control panel.
  • The computer image should appear on screen.
  • Adjust volume, if needed, with volume knob on control panel.
  • To temporarily mute the image, press the PIC MUTE button on the control panel.
  • When finished, log off computer, then press the Display Off button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking.
To Use Personal Laptop with Projector
  • Switch out the classroom laptop with your personal laptop by fastening the laptop cable to your machine. Plug laptop cable into laptop's external monitor jack, and connect the audio cable to the headphones jack on your laptop.
  • Turn on laptop.
  • To display laptop image on projector, use the Control Panel on top of instructor station. (Pictured above)
  • Press and hold Display On button for two seconds. Button will blink, indicating that the projector is slowly turning on.
  • Press PC button on control panel input selector.
  • Laptop image should appear on screen. If image is not optimal, press the Auto Image button on the control panel.
  • If needed, adjust volume with knob on Control Panel.
  • To temporarily mute the image, press the PIC MUTE button on the control panel.
  • When finished, turn off and unplug laptop, then press the Display Off button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking. Projector will then turn off.
