To Use Desktop Computer with Projector
- To display computer image on projector, use the Control Panel on top of instructor station. (Pictured above).
- Press and hold Display On button for two seconds. Button will blink, indicating that the projector is turning on.
- Press PC button on input selector of control panel.
- The computer image should appear on screen.
- Adjust volume, if needed, with volume knob on control panel or the volume icon on the PC taskbar.
- When finished, log off computer, then press the Display Off button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking.
To Use Laptop with Projector
- There is a laptop cable at the instructor’s console. Use the HDMI cable, with the appropriate attached adapter, and plug it into your laptop.
- Turn on laptop.
- To display laptop image on projector, use the Control Panel on top of instructor station. (Pictured above) Press and hold Display On button for two seconds. Button will blink, indicating that the projector is turning on.
- Press the HDMI button on the control panel input selector.
- Laptop image should appear on screen.
- If needed, adjust volume with knob on Control Panel or the volume icon on your laptop.
- When finished, turn off and unplug laptop, then press the Display Off button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking. Projector will then turn off.
To Use Apple TV for Wireless Screencasting
- To screencast the contents of your device, use the button control panel. (Pictured above).
- Press and hold Display On button for two seconds. Button will blink, indicating that the projector is turning on.
- Press Apple TV button on control panel.
- Follow the Ditto instructions show on the projector screen or use the Screen Mirroring feature on your Apple device to choose the specific Apple TV for the room you are in to screencast to (using the drop down list)
- The contents of your device should appear on the projector screen.
- Adjust volume, if needed, with volume + and - buttons on control panel or your devices's volume control buttons.
- When finished, disconnect your device, then press the display OFF button on the control panel.
To Show a BluRay or standard DVD
- Turn on BluRay player, located inside the equipment rack. It will play standard DVDs, as well as BluRays.
- To display DVD image on TV, use Control Panel on top of instructor station. (Pictured above)
- Press and hold Display On button for two seconds. Button will blink, indicating that the projector is turning on.
- Press the BluRay button on Control Panel input selector.
- Insert DVD in the DVD drive.
- Operate DVD player with the provided remote control.
- Adjust volume using knob on Control Panel.
- When finished, press the Display OFF button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking. Eject DVD and turn off DVD player.
