Reconnect Duo Mobile on a new phone


Even though you may download Duo Mobile on new mobile phone, the app will not automatically recognize your Kenyon Duo account. As long as your new phone has the same phone number as your prior phone, follow the steps below to reactivate Duo Mobile on your new phone. On your computer, log into any Kenyon website protected by Duo, such as https://vpn.kenyon.edu
  1. When you reach the Duo screen, click My Settings and Devices on the left side of the Duo window.
  2. In the main portion of the Duo window, click Call me.
  3. Answer the phone call from Duo and press any key on your phone to continue.
  4. In the Duo screen on your computer, find the entry for your mobile phone number, then click the blue Device Options button to the right of it.
  5. Click the dark blue Reactivate Duo Mobile button that now appears below your phone number.  
  6. Follow the prompts in the Duo window. When the QR code appears on screen, scan it using the Duo Mobile app on your phone.
