To Use Classroom Computer with Plasma screen
- Turn on computer and log in. There is a wireless keyboard/trackpad available for control from any location in the room. (There is also a wired keyboard available.)
- On the control panel, Press the Display On button.
- Press PC button.
- Computer image should appear on screen.
- Adjust volume, if needed, with volume knob and volume icon on the computer's taskbar.
- If you need to temporarily darken the screen, press the PIC MUTE button.
- When finished, log off the computer, then press the Display Off button.
To Use Wireless Keyboard
- Remove wireless keyboard from the charging base.
- Ensure that On/Off switch on upper right side is set to On (orange dot will appear.)
- Place keyboard at desired location on the seminar table.
- To move the cursor, use your finger on the round trackpad on lower right of keyboard. (To Click, double tap on trackpad.)
- To scroll vertically, place your finger on the white dot on the trackpad, and then turn clockwise to scroll down and counterclockwise to scroll up.
- When finished, leave keyboard power on and return it to the charging base.
To Use a Laptop with Plasma screen
- There is be a laptop cable on the side of equipment cabinet. This cable will reach the seminar table.
- Plug laptop cable into laptop's external monitor jack. Plug the mini audio cable into the laptop's headphone jack.
- Turn on laptop. On the control panel, Press the Display On button.
- Press Portable PC button.
- Laptop image should appear on screen. (You may need to adjust your laptop's screen resolution to match the plasma screen. 1280 x 768 is recommended.)
- Adjust volume with knob on Control Panel, and volume icon on the laptop's taskbar.
- If you need to temporarily darken the screen, press the PIC MUTE button.
- When finished, turn off and unplug laptop, then press the Display Off button.
To Show a BluRay or standard DVD
- Turn on BluRay player and insert DVD. It will play standard DVDs, not just BluRays.
- To display DVD image on projector, use Control Panel on top of instructor station. (Pictured above)
- Press and hold Display On button for two seconds. Button will blink, indicating that the projector is turning on.
- Press the BluRay button on Control Panel input selector.
- Insert DVD in the DVD drive.
- Operate DVD player with buttons on the top control panel, or the provided remote control.
- Adjust volume using knob on Control Panel.
- When finished, press the Display OFF button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking. Eject DVD and turn off DVD player.
