To Use Desktop Macintosh Computer with LCD Projector
- To display computer image on projector, use the Control Panel on top of instructor station. (Pictured above)
- Press and hold Display On button for two seconds. Button will blink, indicating that the projector is slowly turning on.
- Press the button with the computer icon that is labeled MAC on input selector of control panel.
- The computer image should appear on screen.
- Adjust volume, if needed, with volume knob on control panel.
- To temporarily mute the image, press the PIC MUTE button on the control panel.
- When finished, log off computer, then press the Display Off button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking.
To Use Mac Laptop with Projector
- There is a display port laptop cable for Mac laptops next to the control panel. Plug laptop cable into laptop's external monitor jack. There is currently no audio equipment provided for this space to pair audio with projector.
- Turn on laptop.
- To display laptop image on projector, use the Control Panel on top of instructor station. (Pictured above)
- Press and hold Display On button for two seconds. Button will blink, indicating that the projector is slowly turning on.
- Press Portable MAC button on control panel input selector.
- Laptop image should appear on screen. If image is not optimal, press the Auto Image button on the control panel.
- To temporarily mute the image, press the PIC MUTE button on the control panel.
- When finished, turn off and unplug laptop, then press the Display Off button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking. Projector will then turn off.
To Use PC laptop with Projector
- There is a laptop cable for PC laptops next to the control panel. Plug laptop cable into laptop's external monitor jack and plug the audio cable into the headphone jack of the computer.
- Turn on laptop.
- To display laptop image on projector, use the Control Panel on top of instructor station. (Pictured above)
- Press and hold Display On button for two seconds. Button will blink, indicating that the projector is slowly turning on.
- Press Laptop button on control panel input selector.
- Laptop image should appear on screen. If image is not optimal, press the Auto Image button on the control panel.
- If needed, adjust volume with knob on Control Panel.
- To temporarily mute the image, press the PIC MUTE button on the control panel.
- When finished, turn off and unplug laptop, then press the Display Off button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking. Projector will then turn off.
To Use BLU-RAY/DVD with Projector
- Turn on Extron Control Panel (pictured above) by pressing and holding ON for 2 seconds.
- Turn on Blu-Ray control panel, located inside the equipment cabinete.
- Insert Blu-Ray disc or DVD.
- Switch the input display to BLURAY by pressing and holding that button on the projector control panel for 2 seconds.
- When finished, turn off Blu-Ray player. Turn off projector by pressing and holding OFF for two seconds.
