Note: The RackRider unit has an OFF/ON switch (I/O) that must be ON for all equipment to work. It is located in the top right of the unit. 



To Use Classroom Computer with Plasma screen
  • Turn on computer and log in. 
  • To display computer image on plasma screen, use Control Panel on top of AV cabinet.
  • On the control panel, Press the Display On button. 
  • Press PC button.
  • Computer image should appear on screen.
  • Adjust volume, if needed, with volume knob and volume icon on the computer's taskbar.
  • If you need to temporarily darken the screen, press the PIC MUTE button.
  • When finished, log off the computer, then press the Display Off button.


To Use Laptop with Plasma screen
  • There is be a laptop cable on the side of equipment cabinet. This cable will reach the seminar table.
  • Plug laptop cable into laptop's external monitor jack.  Plug the mini audio cable into the laptop's headphone jack.
  • Turn on laptop.  On the control panel, Press the Display On button.
  • Press Portable PC button.
  • Laptop image should appear on screen.  (You may need to adjust your laptop's screen resolution to match the plasma screen.  1280 x 768 is recommended.)
  • Adjust volume with knob on Control Panel, and volume icon on the laptop's taskbar.
  • If you need to temporarily darken the screen, press the PIC MUTE button.
  • When finished, turn off and unplug laptop, then press the Display Off button.


To Show A DVD/Blu-Ray
  • Turn on Blu-Ray player and insert DVD.
  • On the control panel, Press the Display On button.
  • Press the DVD or Blu-Ray button on Control Panel.
  • Operate DVD player with buttons on the control panel or remote control.
  • Adjust volume using knob on Control Panel.
  • When finished, press the Display OFF button. Eject DVD and turn off Blu-Ray player.
